For the second consecutive year, the obligation to have equipment adapted to driving in winter has been deployed. Thus, between November 1 and March 31, it is compulsory to equip your vehicle with winter tires or to have chains or snow socks, in certain municipalities in the mountainous massifs (Alps, Corsica, Massif central, Jura massif, Pyrenees , Vosges mountains). In total, 34 departments are subject to this obligation.
