Deliberately outside the framework, COURCHEVAL is the new project of the singer of Kaolin, Guillaume Cantillon. He talks to us about women with fascination, about men with self-mockery, about the fragility of the world, about sweat, about looseness, about sex and landscapes.
COURCHEVAL glues, cuts, dismantles and reassembles, without copying, and when he pays a necessary homage it is because it feels good. From the England of the Beatles there remain the beautiful melodies, but it is from samples that COURCHEVAL and his musical heist accomplice Benjamin Sportes (aka Futuro Pelo or Sporto Kantes), built the backbone of a soundtrack never before seen in French song or pop. At COURCHEVAL, the voice is warm, even when the text is sarcastic.
