Toquicimes, much more than a food festival.

Toquicimes is not simply an event for discerning gourmets.

The festival offers an immersion into the world of mountain cuisine and allows everyone to discover, taste, learn and exchange.

Gastronomy is explored in all its forms: local produce, traditional recipes, contemporary creations, culinary techniques and encounters with those who keep Alpine cuisine alive.

The aim is also to show that mountain cuisine is not limited to a few iconic dishes.

Behind the recipes lies a territory, producers, farmers, artisans and chefs who work daily to develop this gastronomy while preserving its identity.

When the top chefs

encounter alpine cuisine.

One of the distinctive features of Toquicimes is that it brings together very different profiles around the mountain.

Chefs, cooks, producers, artisans, students in training and enthusiasts can all come together around the same table.

The demonstrations and meetings provide an opportunity to discover the techniques used by professionals and to understand how they work with local products.

Gastronomy then becomes a spectacle, but also a moment of transmission.

And that's probably one of the great pleasures of the festival: being able to observe the professionals, exchange ideas with them and leave with some ideas to reproduce at home.

A family event

Toquicimes is also aimed at the general public.

You don't need to be a gastronomy expert to enjoy the festival.

The activities, tastings, meetings and various experiences offered allow families as well as food enthusiasts to enjoy the event.

For children, it is also a fun way to discover the origin of food and the know-how behind what they find on their plate.

Because understanding the mountain also means understanding what it produces.
