Welcome to Romain and his team! Here, you will be welcomed into a village café atmosphere. Taken over only two months ago, it only took a short week for the new teams to reopen this establishment known a few years ago as the Café de la Poste.

It was on the shores of Lake Annecy that he met the man who is today his partner. He too is self-taught and this is not his first attempt since the Café de la Place in Megève marks its 27e opening. This man is none other than his former manager at the Café de la Place de Talloires. It was together that they decided to collaborate and open a new restaurant in Madrid, before arriving today in Megève.
The particularity of their restaurants which becomes an identity and a signature in its own right? French music from the 80s in the background!
As such, pop rock musical evenings with singers or musicians are organized every Friday and Saturday.

As for the cuisine, simple, authentic, homemade and seasonal dishes, all at reasonable prices (dishes from €15 for a well-dressed salad and €30 for a nice piece of meat or fish). The good deal, a daily special at a fixed price all year round for €17!
We fell in love with the lemon tart covered with a meringue that was as generous as it was delicious.
It is also possible to enjoy the place throughout the day for a coffee in the morning, a snack in the afternoon and a drink in the evening, without forgetting the aperitif boards to share!
Before leaving, don't forget to take a look at the ceiling... An original decorative touch thought up in collaboration with an Annecy artist, Alexis, representing a giant slate in the style of a bistro chalk map.

When you come back, you may be able to take advantage of the new spaces that the team plans to put in place shortly: a larger veranda and a wine cellar to be privatized for your events of up to 15 people in a spirit of speak easy.
