The Megève media library

A space for reading, discovery and meetings

The municipal media library is much more than just a place to borrow books. Modern, welcoming, and bright, it offers a wide selection of books for all ages, from contemporary novels to comics, children's books, essays, in-depth works, and even audio and video documents.

It also hosts cultural events throughout the year: storytelling hours, creative workshops, temporary exhibitions, conferences, screenings, etc. A place of life as much as of knowledge, it is part of a dynamic of social connection, notably thanks to its cozy reading spaces, its room dedicated to collaborative work and its access to digital technology.

The modern and contemporary art space

An Alpine setting for artistic creation

At the intersection of tradition and modernity, Megève also promotes contemporary art. The dedicated exhibition space, accessible within the Palais, allows local and international artists to present their works in a unique setting, combining stone, wood, and clean lines.

Throughout the year, temporary exhibitions, openings, artist encounters, and creative residencies bring this space to life. Accessible to all and often free of charge, it offers a contemporary and sensitive perspective on the major issues of our time: nature, territory, environment, memory, etc.
