During a guided tour of his exhibition on the Allée Cavalière and the Alpine Garden, wildlife photographer David Carpano shares with us his magical moments, captured in the Megève area, in the intimacy of the forests and the mountains.
These freeze frames are the result of long hours of watching in the mountains around Megève. Wildlife so close, yet so discreet and wild, sometimes difficult to glimpse.
The thirty or so panels in the exhibition reveal the wildlife of the area with striking animal details and the animal's expression as well as shots with an artistic approach, where the photographer plays on the brightness and the shots, always with the same objective of showing and sharing the wonders of the wild world that surrounds us.
David Carpano was born in Megève in 1973, and has been practicing wildlife photography for about fifteen years. A true nature enthusiast, he travels around Megève and its surroundings to photograph the Haute-Savoie wildlife, with the constant concern of not disturbing it.
Equipped with his camera, he crisscrosses the mountains of our regions, in order to share with the general public his photos, showing the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. Present on social networks under the pseudonym of "Dav'sfotos", David regularly publishes the photos of these mountain escapades.
