Looking for a refreshing experience in Megève? Aqua-hiking is a walking tour along the water: a fun, safe walk adapted to your desires, from an introductory pace to a trail-style effort, to explore the mountains in a different way!
Discover aqua-hiking, a completely new and fun way to explore the landscapes of Megève. Accompanied by our passionate instructor-guides, you progress directly in the riverbed, following the current.
Here, there are no rappels or dizzying waterfalls: this is a true aquatic hike where the water never goes above knee level. It's the ideal activity to recharge in complete serenity while enjoying the natural coolness!

Everyone at their own pace! Your instructor personalizes the outing, from a leisurely walk in nature to a more rhythmic trail run if you are looking for a more athletic challenge.
For your outing, please wear closed-toe sneakers with good soles (which will get wet). Also remember to bring a bag with dry clothes and shoes, a towel, a water bottle, and a small snack for the break.
Location accuracy
The meeting point is set in the village of Megève, Pré Saint-Amour, in front of the red cable car cabin.
Depending on the schedule, weather conditions, water level fluctuations, your preferences and physical ability, your guide will choose the preferred route.
Depending on the chosen outing, the river trip can be upstream, downstream, or an out-and-back. For one-way trips, there's no need to worry: the journey to and from the river is easily arranged thanks to the free shuttle buses in Megève, always accompanied by your guide.
